A Shared & Restful Space
The Body Bar is a shared, peaceful environment designed to support deep relaxation for everyone. From the moment you arrive, our intention is to create a space where each guest can fully let go, unwind, and feel cared for.
To help maintain this atmosphere, we kindly ask guests to keep voices and conversation to a minimum during treatments — even during esthetics services. Of course, if you need to communicate with your treatment provider at any time, please do so gently and softly. Your comfort and care are always our priority.
By honouring the quiet of the space, we help create a calm, grounding experience where every guest can truly relax.
Arrival Time
We kindly recommend arriving 5–10 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment time. This allows you the space to unwind, get settled, and enjoy the studio before your treatment begins.
For first-time guests, we suggest arriving 10–15 minutes early to allow time to complete any required intake forms, ensuring your treatment begins in a relaxed and unhurried way.
Noise-Cancelling Headphones
To support deeper relaxation and a more immersive experience, we strongly recommend the use of our noise-cancelling headphones during treatments.
These headphones help soften outside sounds, quiet mental chatter, and create a cocoon-like environment where the nervous system can truly settle. Many guests find that using them allows for:
• Deeper relaxation and nervous system regulation
• A calmer, quieter mind during treatment
• Greater ability to fully let go and be present
• A more immersive, restorative experience
You’re always welcome to communicate with your treatment provider while wearing the headphones. If at any time you’d prefer not to use them, simply let us know — your comfort always comes first.
Code of Conduct
The Body Bar is rooted in respect, calm, and care — for both our guests and our practitioners. We ask all guests to help us maintain an environment that feels safe, welcoming, and restorative.
We kindly ask that:
• Communication with our team remains respectful and considerate
• Our practitioners’ time, boundaries, and expertise are honored
• Treatment rooms remain calm, quiet, and restorative
Our practitioners reserve the right to end a treatment early if boundaries are crossed. In these cases, the full service fee may still apply.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Each appointment at The Body Bar is thoughtfully prepared and reserved just for you. Our treatments require dedicated time, care, and intention from our practitioners, and short-notice changes make it difficult to offer that time to another guest.
We kindly ask for the following notice if you need to cancel or reschedule:
• 48 hours’ notice for weekday appointments
• 72 hours’ notice for weekend appointments
To ensure clarity and proper care of each request, all cancellations and rescheduling must be made by phone.

Cancellations made outside of these timeframes may be subject to the following:
• Late cancellations may be charged 50% of the service
• Missed appointments or same-day cancellations may be charged 100% of the service
• Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time to respect the next guest’s experience
We understand that life happens. If something unexpected comes up, please reach out as soon as possible — we always aim to approach each situation with care and fairness.
A Gentle Reminder
Our policies are not meant to be punitive. They exist to protect the energy of our space and the people within it. When we all arrive with mindfulness and respect, the experience becomes more meaningful for everyone.
